Review of the Bersa Thunder

I picked this Bersa Thunder up at Franklins in Troy Missouri for about $380.00 which is a fair price. I was just looking for something smaller than my Glock 26 which I still carry. This one though is one I could carry on my hip instead of the small of my back and it is a little lighter. The Bersa Thunder is amazingly easy to tear down and clean. It comes down into about 3 parts and it pops right back together. I was really amazed at the accuracy of this thing, it is so easy to shoot and it does pack a punch however simple to aim. The other thing I really found to be helpful is to get it ready, you just click the safety decocker off and pull the hammer back, which you can easily do while leaving it on your hip. Since it is a double action semi auto you can also just click the safety off and have a hard pull on the first shell and then lighter trigger after that. The Bersa fits perfectly in my hands and it is small enough to fit into a back pocket. The clip holds seven plus one and it comes in black or silver or a two tone. All look very sharp, so that is up to personal taste.
